Monday, June 26 and the Exam Review Day

Monday, June 26 is a regular school day.  

All textbooks have been returned for our class. Exams have been marked and updated.

This is the schedule for the exam review day which is Wednesday, June 28.

Period 1	8:20am – 9:00am
Period 2	9:05am – 9:45am
Period 3	9:50am – 10:30am
Period 4	10:35am – 11:15am
Period 5	11:20am – 12:00pm
Lunch	12:00pm – 1:00pm
Individual Student Appointments	1:00pm – 3:00pm

Agenda for Monday, June 19, 2017.

1.  Blog has been updated with videos. Use these videos to review some of the concepts that you have learned this semester.  Consider trying the question posed, and then checking your answer with the video.

2.  Final Exam Quiz!

3.  Take up the quiz.

4.  Exam is on Friday....be early (9 am).  By 9:15 am, if you are not in class with your equipment and textbook, then I will call home to inquire about your absence.  If you are late to the exam, you will not be given any extra time.  If you are absent for the exam, you MUST  have a doctor's note verifying the absence and the reason.  You will write your exam at another time.  Any other reason for your absence will result in a mark of zero.

Be sure that your textbook is your own.
Be sure that you have all of your own supplies, just like during EQAO.
A formula sheet will be provided to you for your exam.

Unit #3 Review

Agenda for Friday, June 16, 2017. 

1.  You will need to access the review sheets for unit #3 posted below and under the tab:  Information for absent students.

2.  In class, complete sheet #1 and check your answers with the answers provided at the bottom of page 2. You will need to submit your FULL SOLUTIONS to the supervising teacher.
3.  Unanswered questions should be finished for homework for Monday.  Be sure to check your answers.
4.  Videos are posted.  More to come!  If your video has been selected, please forward me your YouTube link so that I can embed it into our blog.
5.  Quiz on Monday! - like a mini final exam!  Are you ready?  I know that you're wondering if it's summative or formative....I won't tell you until the end of the evaluation on Monday! - so be ready!

Homework:  You will receive a Final Exam Review for Unit #1:  Number Sense and Algebra sheet.  Do not write on it.  You will resubmit this sheet once we are finished with it.  Be sure to write out the questions so that you can refer to it again.

Optimization of Square Based Prisms

1.  Obtain handout: double sided called OPTIMIZATION OF SQUARE BASED PRISMS
If you are away today, then you can find a copy of this to print from home under the tab for Information for Absent Students.
2.  Complete the handouts and compare your answers with one another.  Submit your handouts to the teacher in the classroom.  Be sure that your name is on it!
3.  The homework written on the bottom of the sheets is wrong!  The correct homework is:  Page 495 #1 - 5, Page 501 #1 - 3, 5
