Scatter Plot Review Day

Agenda for Thursday, May 11, 2017.

1.  Attendance
2.  A quick review:  Let's make a scatter plot of Height of seedlings vs. growing times.

What type of trend do you see?
Draw a line of best fit.
What is the correlation between time and height of the seedlings?
If a seedling grows for 2.5 days, how tall could I expect it to be?
If a seedling is 5 mm tall, how many days might the plant have been growing for?
If a seedling were left to grow for 1 week, how tall could I expect it to be?
If a seedling was 20 mm tall, then how long could the plant have been growing for?
Determine the equation for the line of best fit and double check your values from above.
Verify all of your findings using your graphing calculator.
3.  Review:  Page 98 #3, 7, 10
